- 1965 R60 painted black with silver panels and pure white pinstripes. This silver is the base silver color from a silver smoke R90s. This bike has matching rims in black with silver and a white pinstripe. We were making this bike into a side car rig originally, and then turned it into a test bed for some of Kevin's performance enhancing modifications. These are all special developments from our BrooksMotorWorks Flying Fox Racing program. Different pistons giving a compression ration of 9.5:1 are used. In an effort to enhance performance Kevin wanted the reciprocating weight to be as low as possible. He installed a lightened fly wheel, a crank with special work, lifters with 4 windows instead of 2, and a 328 camshaft. Cylinderheads identical to those developed for the Bonneville racer were installed, as well as an R69S aircan & airtubes, and 26 mm Bing carbs from a R69S. Also installed is a solid state electronic ignition with a 12 volt 150 watt alternator. Kevin rebadged this BMW as an R60S because it is so fast, and is now something other than an R60 or an R69S. Perhaps it's something more than either. We call this motorcycle The Flash. It sure is fun to ride!

- Kevin's Birthday Special. This rare bike is an R68 built in his birth year of 1954. The tank is a 7 gallon Hoske. The tachometer is cam shaft driven, with an original swingsaddle and grab-handle mounted behind the rider's seat.
- Detail shot showing the special Akipp flip down side stand. This is a German-made after market product for /3 BMW motorcycles.

- This detail shot shows the BMW embossed spark plug cap.
- Kevin's special ride for long trips is this bike with all Kevin's latest valvetrain developments. It is his 1968 R69S with a 6.3 sport tank. This green color was selected from a vehicle in the Munich BMW Museum. The pin stripes are Dover White to match the Dover White Enduro bags. These enduro bags are reproductions from Luxxurmarine. Kevin produces special saddle bag mounts to replace the originals. Original mounts had brackets clamped to the frame exactly where you needed to grab to put up on the center stand. In comparison, Kevin's mounts are light and attractive looking. They enable you to remove the rear axel without having to empty the bags in order to then remove the bag to get the axel off, like in the old configuration. With Kevin's special design, you can take off the nut and remove the axel. These mounts are a light, small, unobtrusive mounting system that does not detract from the looks of the bike when the bags are not mounted.
